In this interdisciplinary Master project, you will design, model, and simulate cryogenic control electronics for scalable electron-spin qubit systems. The core challenge is enabling multi-qubit control while minimizing wiring overhead, heat load, and noise at millikelvin temperatures.
The thesis includes developing models, circuit designs, and simulation frameworks that:
The goal is to enable scalable, low-noise control architectures for future multi-qubit systems.
In case you do not fulfill all requirements above, please do not hesitate to apply anyways. We might be able to teach you the missing skills during the induction.
Join us and help define the electronic and quantum architectures that will drive the future of scalable quantum computing. You'll be part of a supportive, world-class environment in this rapidly growing field.
In addition to exciting tasks and a collegial working environment, we offer you much more: https://go.fzj.de/benefits
